Veterans United Home Loans employees have been steadfast in their commitment to support mental health and PTSD initiatives across the nation. In 2019, we launched “The Warr;or Campaign” through Veterans United Foundation, the charitable arm of Veterans United Home Loans. We provided funds to 30+ organizations supporting Veterans, their families and other citizens. In all, more than $900,000 was donated.

Unfortunately, three months later tragedy struck. Even more unexpected hardships followed that. In 2017, our employee-funded foundation launched a nationwide "Week of Giving" campaign. Employees surprised five local charities with $10,000 donations in each of the 27 cities where Veterans United has offices. In all, that's $1.35 million to 135 organizations that are doing so much good in communities across the country. It's been a remarkable year for our foundation, our employees and the organizations we have touched.

In 2011, a 21-year-old Kansas soldier, Spencer C. Duncan, was among 30 U.S. troops killed when a helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan.
