Inspired, created and fully funded by Veterans United Home Loans employees, Veterans United Foundation exists to enhance lives. Fueled by passion, generosity and an unwavering commitment to give, the Foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans and service members, for employees and their families, and in local communities served by Veterans United.
About the Foundation
Veterans United Foundation is the philanthropic division of Veterans United Home Loans. Incepted in November 2011, the Foundation is funded from employee contributions that are matched dollar-for-dollar by the company. More than 90 percent of Veterans United employees contribute a percentage of their paychecks to the Foundation. Employees also take an active role in referring possible needs to the foundation and showing the community support through volunteer work.
Veterans United Foundation gives donations based on the direction of an allocations committee. The committee consists of six Veterans United Home Loans employees who are elected by their peers to serve a two year term. Each committee member has demonstrated a desire to go above and beyond in living out the company's core values, acting as an advocate and voice for their colleagues. The committee is dedicated to serving veterans and its communities and is honored to have such a vital role in the decision-making process of their Foundation.
